Whitney, I’m learning from you the idea of “empire” which if I were to describe in camera shots- seems to be the pulled back “long shot” from the medium shot- “feminist theory”. Empire encompasses so much more landscape. You were discussing slavery of the Roman empire, my question is what about Egyptian empires? Didn’t slavery in a complete way exist then?
