Local Hero is better than Gregory’s Girl, IMO. But, I didn’t grow up in Scotland so that it’s a coming of age story is less relatable for me. I do appreciate Bill Forsythe’s sense of humor in all his work, though. Peter Reigert paired with Peter Capaldi was one of Forsythe’s greatest decisions!
