In other news…
We finished watching Cobra Kai on Netflix last night.
It’s the serialization of The Karate Kid with Ralph Macchio and William Zabka (aka, Daniel and Johnny) as adults with unresolved childhood issues thanks to that fight. It’s so much better than you might think it is. And yet, the ending of season two (which probably wasn’t necessary after the charmingly sweet and interesting first season, but hey, content is king with so many eyeballs to net) was akin to the Capulets and the Montagues in locked in an extended cage fight.
And so, all that stuff I had wanted to tune out was back in our faces and so we figured we might as well turn the damned election hoopla back on. I’m still miffed.
Why I am so off-hand about it, I mean, of course it’s more than hoopla, but it’s because I know who won, I knew it would be the way it is, and I am just waiting for the temper tantrum to end.
