How are you? Everything okay?
I ask because so many of the newsletter publishers I read, which all told is about 25 on a weekly basis, are reporting that they are just done. Crispy toast. Sad. Anxious. Fearful. Weary.
And that is how I have been describing my state of mind to those close to me. So, now you’re in on my private state of mind, too.
The reporters, writers, poets, analysts, and others I regularly read all seem to have hit a wall, what with pouring so much energy into their respective newsletters while also just being a person who wants to assimilate the changes we’re all going through.
What we publishers do is very public, and yet it too often feels one-way, as though it’s just a rota of matinee and evening shows, with us singing into a darkened theater, but with no way to hear the tears and laughter we figure our lines should precipitate.
